Completion of TOG-US Corrections Tactical Operations Tier-2 Operators Course

​Today was by far one of the toughest and longest days for these guys. For some if marked one of the longest and toughest training they have received in their careers as Corrections Deputies and now Corrections Tactical Operators. Today marked the end of a nearly 7 month training pipe line. Extending from developing some basic instructors on several of our courses to earning their Operator wings.

Our hat is off to these guys and we look forward in seeing their careers blossom as professional corrections Tactical Operators. From cell extractions to In-Custody Tactical Hostage Rescue and the "Maria Mile". They conquered it all. Thank you and congratulations.

TOG-US & IWI-US, proven rifle platform now in the hands of Corrections Tactical Operations

When it comes to CQC (Close Quarters Combat), Transport of High Risk/Value/Profile Inmates, having the capabilities to meet and exceed a potential threats capabilities could be the difference between going home the same way you reported into work or not.

This is why we use IWI US's Tavor X95 rifle. Still having a 16 1/2 barrel adjusted into their bullpup design, which gives you the feel of a 7" barrel rifle is great for the Corrections Tactical Operations field and operator. This means you can actually employ real world tactics during your transports and still maintain fire power superiority. This rifle platform has been the workhorse of Israeli military, police, Special Ops for years and now in the U.S. Market and being put together here in the U.S. is of great advantage to the  Corrections Operator everywhere.

The DP-12 from Standard Manufacturing LLC also featured on the latest Tactical Solutions Magazine , it's the go-to shotgun for TOG-US and it's training operations. After hundreds of shots, both less lethal / lethal munitions and numerous of different operators from different departments who've used them on our trainings....it has come out the "other side of the tunnel" with its "head" held high.

It's a great feeling knowing that if having to deal with any issue within a facility, we can still have the upper hand. Having a shotgun that can give you the edge in a CQC (Close Quarters Combat) environment and deliver the tactical / firepower capabilities that it does...it's without comparison. Roughed, tough, well built, reliable, accurate, all things needed from any weapons platform in order to ensure the enduser, civilians and inmates all are safe at the end of any emergency situation.

No Longer Your "Goon Squad" Operators

The Corrections Tactical Operator in Corrections for the 21st Century has come a long way from what it used to be know as. In a world where law enforcement professionals are being scrutinized for every thing they do, the corrections professional has had to adapt to this evolving shift. Now teams a selecting operators who can not only keep up physically but they need to be thinkers, problem solvers, counselors, tacticians, supervisors, subject matter experts, all in one!  

This is why we train our students the way we do and why we demand so much of them. When they come to train at our Corrections Tactical Operations Training Center, they can expect to be challenged and be brought up to their limits...then we'll show them that what they thought was their limit, it's just the begging of their true potential.

Corrections Tactical Operations - No longer knuckle draggers but Operators

We train corrections officers to be independent thinkers and problem solvers under some of the most stressful situation possible. In the past the role of the "CERT" Operators was just to grab 5 to 7 or your biggest guys, a shield and "drive the train" right onto the inmate. After the CERT team entered the cell and attempted to plaster the inmate against the back wall....everything goes side ways. The inmate never stand just still, they just don't let you get your assigned " quadrants", and they always comply...not!  

This is why we had had to evolve...this is why we are here. We strive to ensure that the operators who come to our courses leave with a better understanding of what entails to do the job that we have to do and how to do it in the times we are living in now.

Down Officer Rescue in a Correctional Setting

Being able to properly rescue an fellow officer, civilian or even inmate, is a must know for a corrections tactical operator. 

In-Custody Tactical Hostage Rescue - Level-1 BASIC

This is a small clip from our In-Custody Tactical Hostage Rescue Course, Level-1 Basic. The guys here had been working pretty hard during this week long course and here they had been up and training for over 12 consecutive hours with one or two hours of sleep.  

Because we don't choose when bad things happen, we must be ready at all times!

Tactical Gas Mask Operations Training for Corrections Tactical Teams

This course is designed to teach Correction and Detention Special Operations teams the fundamentals and concepts behind conducting various operations with in the correctional environment. Correctional tactical teams are called upon to answer numerous situations such as: Cell Extractions, Medical Escorts, Pod Dominations, Hostage Rescue, just to name a few. All of these situations are at many times conducted under the use of chemical agents thus requiring operators to utilize and perform while using agency approved gas mask. ​

This course introduces and exposes operators to all these factors and upon completion of the 4 day course, they will leave with a much better understanding of what it takes to perform under these situations with their gas mask. This course is not for the faint of heart, but will teach students how to over come any challenges presented to them.
